Harley watches improv

Sunday is usually a busy day for me. This one was no exception. Harley had a vet appointment for a booster shot, then I taught my level 3 improv class, immediately followed by a Q&A show at the theater.

The shows went really well and I was happy with both the performances and the Q&A panel that followed. It's not often that students get a chance to ask performers about a show right after it happens and it's something we try to do regularly. The best part was I got to perform with my longtime 2-person show partner, Tim. It was a lot of fun. It was also exhausting.

After that I went home and collapsed.

Harley at the dog park.

Saturday we went to the dog park for awhile.  My dog, Harley, loves other dogs. And people. And food.  She's the best.

I'm very lucky to have found such a great dog who fits me really well. She loves to run around and play but she also loves to cuddle and sleep.

After the dog park, Nick and I went to Alamo Drafthouse, where he was hosting the Monty Python and the Holy Grail Quote-A-Long.

Nick, dressed as a knight. Not pictured: coconuts.

The hosting portion was very short and then we got to watch the movie for free! Even though I have seen it dozens of times, this was my first viewing on a big screen. It was great.

Afterwards we went to a party but didn't stay long. Sometimes when you're out in the world something can trigger a panic attack and you have to go home. But that's okay, home has a puppy.

Back from the Bed

Look it's me, working.

Blogging is a thing I used to do. It was something I really enjoyed doing. Then I stopped. For a long time. Years.

Recently I was re-reading my old blogs, looking for pictures I knew I had posted. They reminded me not only how much I enjoy writing, but also things I did, adventures I had. A living document of stuff I don't remember doing but it must have happened because here's a picture.

I have a lot of downtime at work right now and starting a new blog seemed better than spending my day shopping online. That gets expensive.

So here we go, pictures and words, hopefully once a day.
